SUMMER 2024 REGISTRATION

IS NOW OPEN!!!

New in 2024 - 7/8 Year Old Age Group Added

New in 2024 is the addition of a younger age group for 7 and 8 year olds. This is a perfect opportunity for young players new to the game to learn hitting, throwing, catching and more. We will mix skills and drills with "Fun First" activities to keep them fully engaged throughout the entire camp day.

Our goal is to help these younger plays, many of whom are new to the game, to love and appreciate the beauty of baseball, no matter how long they play or simply watch and root.

The check in tent for camp will be located behind the football stadium.  Please do not drop off your child before 8:45am and please make sure you pick them up no later than 12:10pm.

We ask you to park in one of the following areas and walk down to the tent for drop off and pick up: 1) Small lot above the varsity baseball field, 2) Auxiliary high school parking lot located across from the Ed Center.  PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ANY SPACE MARKED “ED CENTER ONLY” AND DO NOT DRIVE DOWN TO THE CHECK IN TENT.

If you want your child to go home with another adult or by themselves, we require a note with specifics.

Equipment

Campers should have the following for camp each day:  mask or face covering (see below), baseball glove, bat, baseball hat, batting helmet, drink (send extra please), snack.  Baseball pants are preferred; however, sweatpants or shorts (on extremely hot days only) can be worn.  Please make sure that you mark all these items with your child’s name.  Other items, such as batting gloves are optional.

Footwear: Players can wear sneakers, or cleats (NO METAL SPIKES). We do ask that campers bring sneakers with them if rain moves us into the gym.

THERE WILL BE NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT (EXCEPT FOR BASEBALLS), DRINKS OR SNACKS.

Covid and Health Related Items

Per the NJ Department of Health, masks are no longer required by campers or staff.  However, they are recommended in crowded indoor spaces. In our case this could be in the gym or inside the stadium due to inclement weather.  We will closely adhere to this policy and will have staff were masks if we are forced indoors due to weather related issues.

Any camper or staff member who wishes to wear a face covering is welcome to do so.

Sanitization – We will offer hand sanitizer at check in and throughout the camp day.  Further, there will be no sharing of equipment, except for baseballs, which will be sanitized during camp.

Common Sense – Please do not send your child to camp if they have any symptoms of Covid-19, if anyone living in your household is currently ill with Covid-19 or if your child appears sick in any way.  The camp reserves the right to remove anyone appearing ill from the group and will call their parents for pick up.  Please note that we do not offer refunds for illness.  Make ups will be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided space is available.

Any medications, epi-pens, etc. that must be kept on site in case of emergency must be dropped off and picked up daily at the check in tent.

Restrooms

The restrooms are in the football stadium adjacent to the check in tent.

Breaks

We will break for approximately 10 minutes per hour, more on extremely hot days.  Make sure your child comes with plenty of water.

Weather Issues

If there are any weather-related cancellations or changes, we will let you know via email no later than 8:30am.  We have access to emergency shelter in the football stadium if needed.
